This article goes over how to setup your scale with the auto configurator and the requirements for doing so.
To use the auto scale configurator open your scale settings where you can see the class selection screen.
In here you will need to select the "AutoClass" class. This lets the program know you plan to have it watching for the scale output.
Once your class is set make sure the Comm type is set correctly in the hardware setup. If you are using serial the COM port needs to be set. If you are using TCPIP the IP and Port need to be set.
Then make sure the scale is started, it needs to be able to try and pull the scale data to know where the position of your gross weight is. You will know it is started if the second button at the top says "Stop".
You will also need to make sure that the scale has its typical amount of weight on it. So if you typically run trucks that are 10,000+ pounds you should have a truck on the scale atleast weighing 10,000 pounds.
Finally make sure your stream separator field is blank you can do that by clicking on the "AutoClass" class then pressing your insert key on your keyboard. This will open a new window where you can find your stream separator at the bottom and can clear it out.
After your scale is started you can press the Configurator button, this may take a moment to read out your scale but after a few seconds you should see your weight start appearing in the black bar.
